Architect Eva Hatzimanolaki took the Diploma in Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens in Athens in 2001. He researched topics such as: Bioclimatic design, renewable energy (gentle), thermal comfort, traditional and modern constructions.
She made her student lecture on «Vernal Thermal Comfort at traditional «Kamarospito» (house with arch) of Crete.» in 1999 and her Diploma Thesis for the Design of Complexes in 2001, based on bioclimatic logic, incorporating traditional, folk and modern artistic concepts in design.
She attended classes at the Ecole d'Architecture Paris Vale de Marne in Paris in 2000, with reference to the protection and contemporary interventions in the architectural monuments.
She completed her postgraduate studies at the Technical University of Crete, Department of Environmental Engineering, on "Environmental Quality Control and Environmental Management" in 2003.
She works on house design since 2002 in Crete and has collaborated with technical and construction companies, while maintaining her own technical office for Architectural Projects, Studies and Constructions in Chania, Crete. She has extensive experience in designing private villas and modern dwellings and adapting them to the natural landscape and environment.
She has also collaborated with the Ministry of Culture, the prehistoric and classic archaeological office of Chania for the excavation of monuments in privately owned properties and the technical office of the Technical University of Crete for the supervision of the construction of the university buildings.
